I purchased one of these to start with, to setup my home surveillance system. It has a all aluminum case, adjustable sun shield, looks very weather proof. I have a Synology DS212j server/video station that handles 5 max IP cameras. The camera setup right away with wired LAN with IP address 192.168.0.239 (factory default) and User=admin, PW=blank (factory default). The unit added to my Synology right away using a different camera name (Dlink DCS900 or FOSCAM F1890x). Setting up the Wi-Fi was tricky, the included instructions were not so good. server address I found that the trick to setup was: #1 don’t follow the book instructions that say wait at least 30 seconds to disconnect Ethernet line and disconnect power, after selecting Wi-Fi settings up. Only wait 15 seconds from start of uk replica watches reboot and never turn off power while the camera is rebooting, then about 45-90 seconds after the camera reboots the special app needed to see the camera (downloaded from TENVIS site) will show the camera listed again with the right Wi-Fi IP address. I had to watch several videos on YOUTUBE to finally figure it out, book was worthless for Wi-Fi setup. The Infrared LEDs kick on when the light is dimmed low enough and works well for short range. I have been pleased with the features (includes Android support from TENVIS site), for the price I paid ($79 including shipping). Good for detail under 20ft@day or 15ft@night, low power day=4W/night=6W. My next camera to add would be a Megapixel though, as the detail is much better at a longer distance. Good for a first camera when experimenting, happy with purchase.
